FRENCH MASTER PRO CHAMPIONSHIPS

Under the leadership of the Frech Equestrian Federation, in association with GL events Equestrian Sport, organizer of Equita Lyon, the Lyon horse show, and its Longines Equita Lyon, Concours Hippique International, the legendary French Master Pro show jumping championships returned to the Grand Parquet in Fontainebleau.


From April 22 to 28, the elite riders returned to the French horse capital, to the delight of enthusiasts, the public and professionals alike. Great sport!


A real springboard to the top level, the French Master Pro Championships crowned some of the biggest names in French equestrianism: Eric Navet, Michel Robert, Michel Hécart, Timothée Anciaume, Marc Dilasser and Olivier Robert to name but a few.


The third edition of Le Printemps des Sports Équestres offered the numerous spectators a final scenario that will remain etched in the memory. In the weekend's showpiece competition, the French Master Pro Championships.

INTERNATIONAL DRESSAGE HORSE COMPETITION 5*

Alongside the French Master Pro Championships and in the run-up to the Paris 2024 Olympic Games, Le Printemps des Sports Équestres will also be hosting a CDI 5*.


Riders will thus have the opportunity to be accompanied by their best horses to take on competition from outside the region.

5* INTERNATIONAL HORSE COMPETITION

In conjunction with the French Master Pro Championships and in the run-up to the Paris 2024 Olympic Games, Le Printemps des Sports Équestres staged a CSI 5* for the first time in its history.


The CSI 5* Grand Prix was run on Sunday afternoon, April 28, on the Carrière des Princes.

INTERNATIONAL EVENTING COMPETITION 3*-S


In parallel with the French Master Pro Championships and in the run-up to the Paris 2024 Olympic Games, Le Printemps des Sports Équestres staged a CCI 3*-S, bringing together the best French riders and numerous international riders. A return to the Bellifontains of eventing that was eagerly awaited by many riders, organizers and spectators.

PARADRESSAGE 3*

PARA-DRESSAGE


Since 2017, para-dressage has been placed under the aegis of the Frenche Equestrian Federation, alongside several dozen equestrian disciplines, including the three Olympic disciplines. 


A few months before the Paris 2024 Olympic and Paralympic Games, para-dressage, the only Paralympic equestrian discipline, was presented for the first time as part of the Printemps de Sports Equestres event in April 2024. Riders came to roll out their covers on the site of the Grand Parquet de Fontainebleau and thus prepare for the Paralympic events of the Paris 2024 Games, which will be held in a few months' time in the sumptuous setting of the Château de Versailles. 


As organizer of Le Printemps des Sports Équestres, GL events Equestrian Sport is committed to supporting these riders with disabilities on their way to performance at international level, by providing them with adapted facilities and the best possible welcome.

FENCES PERFORMERS AUCTION

After a successful first edition in 2023, the Fences Performers Auction returned stronger than ever to the program for the 2024 edition of the Printemps des Sports Equestres. On the evening of Saturday April 27, some fifteen horses from four to eight years old, as well as a dozen embryos, were offered for auction.


Among the Performers, the Top Price was won by COMME CONVENU, a son of the famous Comme Il Faut, who was sold for €340,000, a new record for a Performer.


With overall sales up 24% on the first edition, this second Fences Performers Auction presented at Le Printemps des Sports Équestres was a resounding success.
